So far, sooooo good!!

'And The Mountains Echoed' By Khaled Hosseini.

My mum actually bought me this book the other day and i just cannot put it down (which is quite bad considering my last exam is short of a week away..oops!)

Khaled Hosseini is such an amazing writer, i have already read (and loved) his other books 'The Kite Runner' and 'A Thousand Splendid Suns', I love the way he writes focusing mainly on one central character, but at the same time manages to intertwine the stories of the other characters too!

As his previous books are, 'And The Mountains Echoed' is set in Afghanistan, including detail on the lives of people who have been affected by the Soviet and Taliban wars throughout the years. Not only this but there is also setting used in America and Paris.

I am about three quarters of the way through this book, and i have to say i am pleasantly surprised by Hosseini's subtle change in writing style, this time focusing on many different characters and bringing them together to show that people who many already know each other without knowledge of it can be bought together in the most amazing and unknowable ways.

Anyway I can't make a full judgement yet as i haven't finished the book, but i know from his previous books that i will not be disappointed!
